| Tonight this shall be fairly short. I am currently attending Indiana Wesleyan University and am enjoying it very much. I am still going into education and am looking forward to the years ahead. I have made some god friends already and enjoy living in my dorm. I wanted to take some photo classes for fun, but because I'm not an art major, I don't think that shall happen. I hope that everyone is doing well! I miss all of you in Pennsylvania and Maine so very much! Grace and Peace from our Lord Jesus Christ! Just a few photos from a little while back!

| So, I'm starting Indiana Wesleyan in three weeks! Just thought I'd let those of you know who care to. Only six more work days left at KOHLS. I must say that it is my favorite job of all those I have had. It's fairly simple, I'm good at it, and I listen to an MP3 player all night while I work. If it wasn't for that, I think it would feel a lot more tedious/boring/longer. I'm looking forward to finally starting school! I can't wait to take a few photo classes! I have been blessed with the provision of a model of my very own, as you may say. And boy, is she ever beautiful. I'm shooting some of her senior pictures and am looking forward to trying my best. I think I may have some pretty good ideas! I have no idea what I'm getting for Christmas and I can't say that it matters much to me. I am to the point that the things that I want the most are too expensive for anyone to buy but me, and I don't really feel the need to get a lot more "stuff." For example, camera equipment is expensive. Not expecting to get any, of course. But, I am blessed to be able to just have a family to share Christmas with. I am blessed with a warm home to shelter me. I am blessed with a car and money for gas. Hey, I already have so much that I don't need and God provides everything that I DO need. I will be thankful for whatever it is that I get for Christmas. It's not about what you get; it's about JESUS. It's about giving and your own generousity, not other's. God loved us so much that he gave his SON, knowing that Jesus would have to die in the end. What are we giving those we love? What are we giving those who have little to nothing. I encourage anyone who reads this to consider giving something to a child in another country if they can afford it. Maybe join with others you know to use the money that you were putting towards each others towards something even better. Check out www.samaritanspurse.org or www.worldvision.org . I know it's a little late for this suggestion, but it's never to late to give. I'm sure I have lots more that I can update on, but I shan't at the present. I hope everyone is enjoying their time home from school! Maybe I can see some people! A Very Merry Christmas!!! If snow is available, go utilize it!! Grace and Peace from our Lord Jesus Christ! | | |
| Okay, so today I visited Indiana Wesleyan University and I positively LOVE it! I must say, I've been on a few campuses before, but I have never felt like I did today! I am still going to visit Grace and Huntington, but I have a feeling I may end up back at IWU! Oh, did I mention that I had the wonderful privilege and blessing of spending the day with one of the most incredibly spectacular girls I have ever met?! haha! No really! You would think so too! I'm sure of it! I also was blessed to see John and talk to him for awhile! A year and a half without seeing one of your best friends is much too long!!! Well, I'll let you all know what my final decision is coming up in the next week or so! We'll see!! Every guy is out looking for that girl that is truly one in a million. When they find them, they always know that it's "the one." There are 3,241,705,278 females in the world, which means you have a 1 out of 33,241 chance of finding her. Fairly nice odds. I think I'll wait for the 1 in 3,241,705,278.......... Oh, and just to let you all know, this shall be arriving at my home within a week
And by the way.....

| Okay, so it's been over a month since I last updated my xanga. I am here to say that things are going well. I like my overnight job that I have at KOHLS. The people that I work with are very friendly, but definitely see things differently than I do. Boy, talk about the world seeing the Spirit's wisdom as foolishness. Now some quick little updates... I decided NOT to get the Civic. I cannot bring myself to have a car payment, so I am spending a couple hundred dollars on repairing my '96 Chevy Corsica. Decent car, decent mpg, and WAY CHEAPER. I am still at a crossroads in choosing my college. I have applied to a few and need to make my decision so I can get to school in January. I am also not sure on how God wants me to teach people. I may still be doing elementary ed. , but I feel like I may be called into ministry. Whether Youth Pastoring or as a Missionary or something, I need discernment in the area. I can say that I grew immensely while in BVS, but I have grown even more since I have come home. Nothing excites me more than the Lord and serving Him. I am trying to continue working on my novels. If they end up being good enough, I can possibly pay for college. We'll see. hahaha. I am also going to possibly try to get my children's book published. I recently bought some new CDs. I really, REALLY like RED: End of Silence. They are a lot like Kutless and Disciple. The instrumental sections are powerful and moving, and their slower songs are beautiful (I also think that there are times when his voice is very similar to the lead singer of Sanctus Real on the softer songs). They sing their lyrics with the occasional scream thrown in. I love them! I am definitely going to get their next album! I also have Day of Fire's new album, and if you liked the first one, Cut and Move is a good follow up. Pocket Full of Rocks is a Praise band that has a pretty good sound and some very nice songs. If you're into praise and worship, take a look into them if you haven't yet. I also bought Flyleaf's CD, and although I like some of it and can listen to all of the songs on it, I only consider it okay. They may be considered a "Christian" band, but I wouldn't know if I would classify them as that. The messages are there (somewhat), but there are country singers with more blunt Christian messages. Oh well. I will give them credit for being one of the few "Christian" rock bands with a screaming girl. It almost scares me sometimes, but I give her credit. Movie Recommendation: Over The Hedge. Laughed throughout the whole movie. VERY clever take on the animals who are wandering around your backyard. I would even purchase this one Okay, so now that that's all over, I am also hoping that somehow I can afford to save up for a dSLR, but I don't think I can before college. Alas, another dream shattered! hahah! Oh well! Praise God for His abundant blessings!!!!
